ABOUT: Waste Flowers
I got permission to take photos in a waste plant in Southern Sweden where I captured the different batches of waste grabbed by the claw-like waste handling grapple. I then turned the photo 180° degrees to see if the grapple with waste turned into flowers. The waste as pedals, the grapple as sepals, the wire as the steam. To me, the images turn out to some kind of dystopian poetry. Could these images be some sort of therapy for us? Funeral flowers for the times we didn’t care about our environment?
