ABOUT: Modemachine

The painting: NYC Suite-23rd floor, picturing the view from a hotel room in New York City. It’s a starting point for the series of paintings called ModeMachines; humans absorbed by their environment in a broad sense, to the point of almost being transformed into it. The bodies of the ModeMachines are gifted with porelike windows or membranes between the body and the city. Open or closed, susceptible or not.
